Campo Swimming Shines in Palo Alto

On Saturday, April 19, 2009, Campolindo's boys' and girls' swim squads took first and second, respectively, at the Palo Alto Section Challenge Invitational, held at Palo Alto High School. The meet involved some of the top swimmers from North and Central Coast Sections. In addition to Campo, swimmers from the following high schools competed in meet: Archbishop Mitty, Granite Bay, Las Lomas, Monta Vista, Monte Vista, Palo Alto, Sacred Heart Prep, San Ramon Valley, Santa Margarita Catholic.
The Campolindo boys' team finished first, earning a total 237.5 score, upsetting defending champion, Bellarmine (CITY), who posted a score of 219 points. Meanwhile, the Campolindo girls' team finished second, just a half a point behind Palo Alto High School, having scored 185.5 points.
