Orinda Police Blotter
Parked drunk, 2/20/10 At 1:00 in the morning, Orinda police found a car parked at Bev Mo with the engine running, lights on and a man slumped behind the wheel, apparently passed out. The good news is he wasn't actually driving at the moment officers found him; the bad news for him is he was still arrested. His blood alcohol level was .11

Car Burglary, 2/14/10 An Evergreen Drive resident parked his car outside his home, but neglected to lock it. Sometime during the night of Valentines' eve an unknown suspect entered the vehicle and took his camera and a radar detector. Estimated value of loss, $980. This type of incident is chronicled in every edition of the Lamorinda Weekly, please remove valuables and lock your car.

Driving way too slow, D.U.I, 2/14/10 A car was eventually pulled over at Highway 24 and Acalanes Road for going 25 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone and failing to yield to police. After finally being stopped with the assistance of Lafayette police, the subject was combative.

Drunk in public, 2/13/10 A 61-year-old white male was found lying on the BART path near Theater Square, partially in the bushes. The smell of alcohol was immediately apparent as an officer approached the fellow and woke him up. The fellow, who had a Moraga address, was slurring his words in response to questioning so heavily it was impossible to understand him. He was recognized from similar run ins - possibly Orinda's newest male frequent flyer.
