MCC Member-Member Winners

Under sparkling blue skies the annual Moraga Country Club Member-Member golf tournament concluded last weekend with a gallery of supporters watching the final teams duke it out for the trophy. Thirty-six two-man teams were divided into brackets, with the winner of each bracket advancing to the final round.
For many of the mostly middle aged golfers, the three day, five 9-hole matches followed by a horse race proved to be a challenge. In the end Benny Lee and partner Edward Leong came in first, Lee made a pressure packed 18-footer for the win. "Better lucky than good," said Leong.
Tap Sittiseri and Tom Tyson finished second. Whit Porter and Bart Penfold came in third.
