Orinda Police Blotter
Learn your lesson yet? 10/1/12 Orinda police discovered an 18-year-old male and his female companion (no age given) near Miramonte High School tennis courts around midnight. They weren't practicing their backhands. He was carrying white powder and a glass pipe with residue. Police suspect the white powder was methadone; he was arrested.

Not setting a good example, 9/28/12 A simple traffic stop led to the arrest of a 20-something woman in the wee hours of the night. The suspect had an outstanding warrant from Long Beach. She listed her employer as a daycare provider. Let this be a lesson to you, kiddies - never skip out on a $30,000 bail bond. Then there was the matter of the quarter ounce of marijuana which, to her credit, she 'fessed up to' while en route to Martinez Detention Facility. It was being stored... to put it delicately...on her very personal person. She retrieved the evidence herself upon arrival in Martinez.
