Playing at St. Mary's College, the Pinto Angels won this year's Moraga Baseball Association Pinto Championship on May 22. After an early playoff loss, the Angels worked their way through the elimination bracket by winning five consecutive games. In the championship game, the Angels won 17-3 against the Pinto Giants. The Angels were led by an incredible hitting display from Justin Rodriguez, who belted two home runs including one grand slam for seven RBIs. They finished their season 16-5.
