After playing against each other during the high school soccer season, the California Magic U15 girls' team united once again as a team.

After a warmup tournament in early February, the girls entered the Las Vegas Players Showcase 2015 tournament on March 20-22. Despite facing the No. 1 team from Arizona and another from New Mexico, the Magic girls brought home the tournament championship, going undefeated in five games over three days while outscoring opponents 8-3.

After a 1-1 tie in regulation, Magic won the championship on penalty kicks 6-5.

"Our players were physically drained during the final match but they played with a full emotional tank and a lot of heart allowing them to achieve their goal of a tournament win. I am very proud of these girls," said head coach Haris Obic.
