Local horror host brings Halloween to the Rheem Theatre
Photo provided

Lord Blood-Rah, host of the syndicated TV show "Lord Blood-Rah's Nerve Wrackin' Theatre," will be bringing his own brand of Halloween chills and cheer to the Rheem Theatre at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27.
"Lord Blood-Rah's Nerve Wrackin' Theatre Halloween Psycho Show" will feature a hand-picked selection of Halloween and horror related short subjects followed by a screening of Francis Ford Coppola's very first film, the thrilling psychological tale of madness and axe murderers, "Dementia 13." There will also be a trivia contest, The Cranial Cavity Search, as Lord Blood-Rah calls it on his TV show, with prizes awarded to those with a grasp of classic horror trivia.
The self-proclaimed High Lord of Geekdom, Lord Blood-Rah, is the creation of life-long horror and science fiction fan Frank Wallace-Ailsworth. Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area in the late '60s and early '70s, Wallace-Ailsworth was introduced to genre films, both classic and not so classic, through the legendary local TV show "Creature Features," hosted by Bob Wilkins and John Stanley which aired on KTVU from 1971 to 1984. This became the inspiration that would drive the creation of "Lord Blood-Rah's Nerve Wrackin' Theatre" in 2009.
Originally a series of live film events across the Bay Area, the show came to television in 2007. Each week on various channels including ZPTV on Roku and other online outlets, "Lord Blood-Rah's Nerve Wrackin' Theatre" presents the best, worst and wildest horror and sci-fi films ever made with comic commentary from the Lord himself.
"Lord Blood-Rah's Nerve Wrackin' Theatre Halloween Psycho Show" marks his return to the Rheem Theatre where he has hosted many Sci-Fi Day film festivals and film events throughout the past several years.
