City Hacienda de las Flores
We are all familiar with our Hacienda, the historic estate and park that is owned by the Town of Moraga which costs several hundred thousands of dollars to operate each year. What is your perspective about the best use of the Hacienda?
Land Protection and Development:
How can Moraga retain its semi-rural character while having a more vibrant downtown?
Town Development:
What are your priorities for the development of Moraga; for example, Livable Moraga Roads, All Access Playground, and Moraga Center? How would you go about facilitating your priorities?
Infrastructure:
How would you address traffic concerns due to changing demographics? For example, Moraga has become a “transit corridor” from East Oakland (via Redwood Road and Pinehurst) to Lafayette and Hwy. 24. In what ways do you believe that the town would benefit from this new activity?

City Ventures:
What is your opinion of the City Ventures Project on Country Club Drive? For example, you may want to comment on the approval process and/or the structure and design of the project. What have you learned that would influence/guide you with respect to future projects?
Housing:
Some Moragans would like to stay in the community and downsize to smaller homes. In addition, teachers, police officers, town staffers, and fire fighters would like to live in Moraga. How do you feel about zoning land so that developers could be encouraged to accommodate these needs with appropriate housing?
Business:
Do you favor building a strong retail community? And, if so, how do you propose we attract potential retail businesses to our community? If you do not favor building a retail community, what do you see as sources of future funds to substitute for our sales tax revenue?
Community Involvement:
How would you invite and encourage the public to have more involvement in community awareness and discussions about key issues?
