Lafayette's Paul Griessel, Jr. took First Place in the Northern California Junior Golf Tournament that took place in Napa on May 10, 2009. The 10 year-old, who is in 4th grade at Saklan Valley School, beat out other players in the 9-10 age group by one stroke on 18 holes. The Northern California Junior Golf Tour is open to boys and girls ages 9-18.
