Leader Appreciation Day is celebrated by Girl Scouts all over the United States on April 22. Girl Scout Leaders give so much - time, talent, patience, caring - serving over 850 girls in Lafayette.

Through Girl Scouts, girls camp, hike, clean creeks/water sheds, collect coats and soccer uniforms, sing at senior care facilities, collect canned food, perform flag ceremonies and numerous other projects.

Our wonderful Leaders are the reason Lafayette girls experience so many activities. Our Leaders commitment to helping Lafayette girls grow leadership skills, build friendships, and contribute to the community should be applauded!

Recently, Girl Scout leaders were surveyed to ask how they would most like to be appreciated for their hard work. The survey revealed that 97% of Girl Scout Leaders would most like a personal message from the girls or families expressing appreciation for what they do. Won't you take a moment to write a message to your Girl Scout leader and send it to her?
