MBA 9U All-star Team Takes All World Summer Shootout

Over the July 9-10 weekend, the Moraga Baseball Association 9U All Star Team won the All World Summer Shootout in Fremont. A 10-team tournament covering all stretches of the Bay Area, the 9U's went 4-0, giving up only six runs and scoring 26 for the tournament.

The young MBA team wrapped up the tournament in a close final game, winning an all-Lamorinda championship game over Orinda 3-1. Congratulations to the 9U's on a strong finish to the summer season.
