Seven Eagle scouts from Troop 237 were celebrated at the Eagle Court of Honor Dec. 13 at the Orinda Community Church. Mayor Latika Malkani was in attendance with City of Orinda Proclamations granting each scout an official day of observance in their honor. Also sending letters of commendations praising their extraordinary accomplishments were Rep. Mark DeSaulnier, California Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan, Gov. Gavin Newsom and President Donald J. Trump. Also, the FBI of San Francisco sent a video message to the scouts commending their civic involvement. The seven Eagle Scouts are all Glorietta Elementary Graduates (Gopher Pride!) and soon to be Class of 2026 graduates at Miramonte High School - Go Mats! Congratulations Class of 2025 Eagle Scouts!
