Orinda Police Blotter

D.U.I., 6/15/10 A car overturned on El Toyonal, ending up resting on its side. The 18-year-old driver smelled like alcohol and had red, watery eyes. During an interview with police, she mentioned she had six shots of whiskey with friends. That'll do it.

Burglary, 6/14/10 A middle-aged Dolores Way resident left his home at 8:30 in the morning - when he returned home at 5:00 p.m. several items were missing from his home. Oddly enough the rear door was left unlocked as was a bedroom exterior sliding door. Estimated loss $5,415.

Burglary, 6/14/10 Unknown suspects entered a Charles Hill Road residence and removed property and a vehicle valued at $8,000. The entire house was ransacked; suspects must have found the keys to the car. Concord P.D. later located the car and stolen property and took three suspects into custody.
