Moraga Police Blotter

Blow to the head, 7/26/10 Moraga officers responded to an accident involving a bicycle. An adult male was riding down hilly Donald Drive when he lost control of his bike. Thanks goodness he was wearing a helmet, because he fell head first into the street. The fall knocked him unconscious for several seconds - he was transported to the hospital for further evaluation.

Car in middle of street, 7/25/10 A white Ford pickup truck was parked and unoccupied in the middle of Sullivan Drive, blocking half of the roadway. The registered owner was contacted and declined to move the vehicle or have it towed. Polite Moraga cops had it towed for him because it was a safety hazard.

Armed robber(s?), 7/17/10 A residence on Donald Drive was robbed while the homeowners were out of town on vacation for approximately a week. Upon returning they found the back sliding glass door was shattered - a shotgun, a rifle and several other items were taken. Armed upon departure, surely without a license to carry.

Forgery, 7/13/10 An unknown person used a Merrill Drive resident's Bank of America checking account number to make payments to Comcast and T-Mobile accounts totaling $706. The reporting person had no idea how or why her account was compromised. Some kind of stupid criminal - how easy is it to track down the cell phone or location of cable TV?
