 With the unpredictable weather we have been experiencing in recent months, a phone app that provides current weather forecasts, in real time, is a useful tool not only for Lamorinda climates, but for any city in America. This popular app is WeatherBug, a free application operational on most platforms. Because WeatherBug has access to over 8,000 weather stations in the United States, it is able to supply accurate updated information relative to the user's current location or any U. S. location. Helpful features include hourly and seven-day forecasts.
Whether you want local weather information or that of another city, WeatherBug quickly displays useful facts with options including temperature, current day forecast, seven-day forecast, wind speed and direction, dew point, and humidity. It also presents detailed radar, maps, and National Weather Service alerts. If you are traveling for work, planning a day trip, or extended vacation, you'll find the additional features extremely helpful.
