| Published April 10th, 2013 | Countdown to Earth Day | | | | Sustainable Lafayette and the Chamber of Commerce are hosting an Earth Day Celebration at the Lafayette Library and Learning Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 21. It's a picnic and party with live music, a bounce house for kids and interactive activities about all things earth. Kicking off the busy family friendly day is a self-propelled parade that departs at 10:45 a.m. from Stanley Middle School. The public is invited to bring festively decorated bikes, skateboards, scooters or sneakers on the stroll from the school to the library. Yummy organic food from local vendors will be available to enjoy al fresco. (See article page B1) C. Tyson
