NCL Brings Holiday Cheer for Those in Need
Photo provided

One hundred and six members from the Lamorinda Chapter of National Charity League came together Dec. 7 for the 3rd Annual Ticktocker Holiday Giving Meeting to bring holiday cheer for those in need at the Monument Crisis Center in Concord. The girls shopped for, and assembled food boxes and goodie bags, made ornaments and cards, and donated over 180 games to help low-income families in Contra Costa County celebrate the holidays. NCL is a volunteer organization composed of mothers and daughters who join together in community involvement. The Lamorinda Chapter has a membership of 254 mothers and daughters, in grades 7 through 12, all of whom actively participate in local philanthropic programs, leadership development, and cultural experiences.
