Lafayette Little League's 2019 11-year-old All-Stars baseball team overcame three elimination games to win California's Little League District 4 Championships at the town's Buckeye Fields. The weeklong tournament hosted All-Star teams from Alameda, Concord and Oakland. Lafayette All-Stars went 5-1, beating Alameda on back to back nights in two tight games. As District 4 champions, the Lafayette All-Stars went on to compete in the Northern California Sectional Tournament held in Vacaville. The team is managed by Dan Ventrelle and coaches are Mark Cusumano, David Habas, and Nick Woodson.
